Eggplants, eggplants, eggplants. Everyone was buying them, cos they were cheap. This inspired me to make pasta. I was originally going to make tortellini but after rushing home from Rachael's baby shower I changed plans due to lack of time.

I havent made pasta in a few years but picked it back up easily, leaving only a light dusting of flour all over the kitchen.
Fettucine with eggplant and baked beans in tomato-y sauce

Mm eggplanty chunks. Love it. It was quite soft and silky, I dunno if it's meant to be a bit firmer than it was, maybe I'm just use to the dried pasta, maybe it was the recipe.
